CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — February 1, 2025 — Lympha Bio has received a $50,000 launch grant from the Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation, the company announced today. The non-dilutive funding will support early commercialization of its lymph node-on-a-chip platform for human-relevant immune modeling.

The award adds state-level support to federally funded research from the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech that underpins the company’s technology.

“This grant helps us take a platform proven in the lab and put it in the hands of the teams who need it. Support like VIPC’s is how Virginia research becomes Virginia companies,” said Rebecca Pompano, a co-founder of Lympha Bio. Pompano is also an associate professor of chemistry and biomedical engineering at the University of Virginia.
